Our Celebration of Life gatherings are designed for your peace of mind, at this difficult time.
Our dedicated event directors are on hand to ensure that the celebration of your loved ones, is delivered in a sympathetic and professional manner. Our chef has prepared several informal dining options, that can be enjoyed in a private space, offering a place for bereaved family and friends to gather, share stories of a loved one, and celebrate their life. If you are arranging a wake and considering the Minster Mill and Old Swan, our professional team will be on hand to support you and advise you every step of the way.
Intimate Cream Tea Gathering
Our smaller gatherings are designed for family and close friends who wish to reflect on the life of your loved ones. These are based on 10 – 50 guests and can be served in our lounge area or one of our smaller dining rooms if you prefer privacy.

Celebration Full Afternoon Tea
Our lovingly designed Afternoon tea is for our larger celebrations, who wish to spend more time for family members and friends to catch up while taking a more traditional tea, that is fully served by our team.
For 30 to 100 guests
Your tea includes a full afternoon tea, round tables, white linen, napkins, Menu cards for the table, jugs of water and unlimited tea or Coffee and an open bar area for your guests to purchase drinks.
