Introducing the latest addition to the Andrew Brownsword Hotel collection, AA Hotel Group of the Year for 2017-18. Minster Mill is just 15 miles from the dreaming spires of Oxford and 11 miles from the inspiring Blenheim Palace. Our charming Cotswold stone buildings and barns are flanked by 65 acres of idyllic grounds set in the picture-perfect Oxfordshire village of Minster Lovell.
We’ve recently finished the final stages of a major refurbishment programme, taking in all the bedrooms and public spaces and creating an impressive new hotel restaurant and bar.
Our magical gardens, lush wild flower meadows and woodland come alive during the summer months, with fishing, walking, croquet and tennis on the menu. When temperatures drop, our seasonal food, cosy interiors and roaring log fires provide a welcome, hospitable haven.
Dressed in sleek, streamlined ‘Skandi’ style, our rooms and suites feature contemporary lightings and fittings, mid-century furniture, sumptuous bathrooms…and all you need for a relaxing, revitalising stay.
With impressive vaulted ceilings and original oak beams, The three AA rosette Mill Restaurant & Bar provides a wonderfully atmospheric backdrop for exceptional seasonal food and drink.
Set in 65 acres of magical gardens, wild-flower meadows, woodland and on the River Windrush, there's plenty to explore and ample places to relax in peace. The vegetable gardens supply the chef with fruit and vegetables and the beehives honey.
We are a dog-friendly hotel and a limited number of our Garden Rooms are available if you are travelling with your dogs. Please see our full Dog Policy for more information.
We have a commitment to green energy and were the first hotel in the country in install a hydropower turbine, the Archimedes Screw which harnesses the power of the river and supplies much of our electricity.
Minster Mill is part of Andrew Brownsword Hotels.
Comprised of thirteen properties in countryside settings and city centre locations, the collection is owned by Christina and Andrew Brownsword CBE DL who strive to create very special places that truly embody their own ethos of great hospitality.
